A social group that is represented in this film is youth.We have represented a young girl in this film to be into doing shopping. This has also been done in a slightly different way in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging. We used the mise-en-scene in the location to create this representation by filming in a clothes shop. By doing this we wanted to follow a typical stereotype to show a norm in something that isn't really normal. In comparison to the example on the left from Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging it shows the same sort of thing. Both members of the cast are involved in shopping or hanging around in a shopping area. This shows that the representation that we used is quite a common one.
