Our production company was independent. This means that it wasn't made by a well known company. A company that would distribute our film could probably be After Dark Films the reason for this is that a lot of the films that are distributed by this company are from the crime or horror genre. This would be a fitting company for this film to be distributed from. We can also use YouTube to show trailers and clips that are from our film.
An existing film that is similar to ours would be Abduction. This film was made in 2011 and was distributed by After Dark Films. The film is similar to ours because it is about a person that has been abducted. The way ours differs from this film is that the person involved doesn't know that he had been kidnapped when he was a child whereas, in our film the person that has been abducted was old enough and in a situation in which they know what is going on.
The money for our film would probably come from some government grants from The UK Film Council, paid product placement and another possible way of getting funding for our film would be to get a private investor but this would be one of the more difficult to gain. (All ways of funding films can be found on my blog post about the production and distribution of our film)
The people that we included in our titles were our two actors Chris Hartshorne and Shannon Marie. Their role in the title sequence was to portray our characters. I was the next person that was involved in our title sequence. My role was to edit the title sequence together. The person that next came onto the screen was Suzanna Owens. Her role was to record the camera shots. The final person involved in our title sequence was Lucy Matthews. Her role was to direct the title sequence. This included telling Chris and Shannon what to do and plan out the scenes before they were shot so she knew what she wanted to do in each section.
